Etter en pause med masse aktivitet utenfor banen, er han nå på plass og klar for siste innspurt i 2014 sesongen.

Andreas Bakkerud kjører fredag og lørdag finalen i FIA World Rallycross Championship 2014 i San Luis, Argentina. (28. og 29. November).
Bakkerud kan fortsatt kapre tredjeplassen i førermesterskapet, og hans team FORD Olsbergs MSE er i tett kamp med Volkswagen om VM-tittelen for team.
Maksimal score for et team er 56 poeng, og maks poeng for en fører er 30.

– Jeg er topp motivert for helgen. Banen ser bra ut, det argentinske publikummet er helt fantastiske, så alt ligger til rette for at dette skal bli en bra helg.
Målet er å avslutte sesongen på en god måte, og ta med gode resultater og en TVM-tittel i teammesterskapet hjem til Norge, og Bergen, sier Bakkerud.

FORD OLSBERGS MSE CHASES FIA WORLD RALLYCROSS TEAM TITLE AT SEASON FINALE
SAN LUIS, Argentina (November 26, 2014) – The winning Olsbergs MSE Ford team is eyeing another 2014 championship title as the FIA World Rallycross Championship heads into its final race of the season this weekend in Argentina.
“It has been an incredible battle between teams all year and it is going to be an exciting weekend for us in World RX,” said Olsbergs MSE owner Andreas Eriksson. “Olsbergs MSE is going to put it all on the line in Argentina to get a win.”
The Ford squad is challenging for the win in the teams title this weekend, with drivers Andreas Bakkerud and Reinis Nitiss both in contention for a race win in their Ford Fiesta ST rallycross cars.
In 11 rounds of competition so far this season, Olsbergs MSE Ford drivers have scored an impressive 11 World RX podium results — including a pair of wins for Bakkerud (World RX of Great Britain; World RX of Turkey) and a first-ever victory for the teenaged Nitiss who, at only 18 became the youngest driver to take a Supercars win when he stood atop the podium at World RX of Norway.
Also on the Supercars roster this weekend is newcomer Kevin Eriksson, driving the AEM Performance Electronics Ford Fiesta ST. The young driver wrapped up the RX Lites Cup victory in September and this weekend claims his reward, competing in a top-spec Supercar in Argentina. The RX Lites Cup was developed by Olsbergs MSE to foster up-and-coming rallycross talent.
Eriksson is the latest guest driver to join Nitiss and Bakkerud this year. The team has also welcomed 2013 British Touring Car Champion Andrew Jordan, multi-time Swedish Touring Car Champion Richard Göransson and famed Italian rally driver Gigi Galli. Jordan scored third-place overall at World RX of Great Britain, while Göransson earned a second-place result in his Supercars debut at World RX of Italy. Galli finished ninth in his debut at World RX of Italy and no doubt won the hearts of the crowd with his huge airs and flamboyant driving style.
This weekend, the team is focused on a three-way battle for the teams title in the new FIA world championship. Olsbergs MSE has 357 points and heads into the season finale trailing Marklund Motorsport by a slim four points. Peugeot-Hansen remains in contention with 323 points. Driver Petter Solberg has already locked up the drivers’ crown, but the runner-up position is still within reach for both Nitiss and Bakkerud. The Norwegian Bakkerud was recently awarded the Sportsperson of the Year honour by his home motor club, NMK, plus a prize of 20,000 Krone.
This weekend marks the first time the series has visited the San Luis circuit and every driver will face a steep learning curve when they hit the course for the first time on Friday for two days of rallycross competition. The Olsbergs MSE squad is confident they’ll adjust quickly. In the Global Rallycross Championship, a series that rarely visits the same circuit twice, Olsbergs MSE this year won both the drivers’ championship and manufacturer title for Ford. “The course is new for everybody and we are ready to hit the ground running,” said Eriksson.
In Las Vegas earlier this month, Olsbergs MSE GRC driver Joni Wiman scored the 2014 Global Rallycross Championship title in his Red Bull/Bluebeam Ford Fiesta ST. Wiman and teammate Patrik Sandell — who pilots the Kobalt Tools Ford Fiesta ST for Olsbergs MSE — were also key contributors in securing the GRC manufacturers championship for Ford.
Competition gets underway at the Rosendo Hernandez Track with practice and opening heats set for Friday (November 28). Final heats and the main event are set to take place on Saturday (November 29), with on-track action starting at 10 a.m. (local time).
